Ocean Tribe Paddlers organizes a meet-up each month for paddling enthusiasts to enjoy the community of a group paddle, share tips and ideas, and meet new friends to paddle with.
On Saturday, December 22nd, we will be exploring Bowman's Beach Mangroves. Those interested in joining the paddle can bring their own paddle craft, or borrow one; to get a loaner, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Launch: 5:30 pm from the Bowman's Beach Kayak Launch. Sunset will be at 5:41 PM. We recommend bringing a flashlight/headlamp on this paddle. Be sure to visit the Ocean Tribe Paddlers Facebook page for any weather updates. We will post about any schedule changes at least one hour prior to the event.
Duration: This paddle will be 1.5 hours. The paddle will explore the mangroves under the light of the full moon. We will be returning to the launch site around 7:00 pm.
After Paddle Social: Join us for a social hour after the paddle at Doc Ford’s Bar and Grille. This is a great opportunity to chat with like-minded people after spending quality time on the water.
